Equestrian Noire

A celebration of beauty, strength and vulnerability in the bond between humans and horses.

About the Artist

Janet has spent years capturing still images of people, cultures, and events with a very unique and distinctive style. A native Wisconsin, she has been an Atlanta resident for the past 24 years. Janet turns to photography as an expression of emotion and storytelling—capturing a moment of kindness, compassion, love, joy, and sadness. When she takes a photograph, she hopes this emotion translates in to what a viewer sees and feels. Her work has been published in digital and print publications ranging from Vogue, Style Me Pretty, The Knot, Ebony.com, Munaluchi Bridal, Buzzfeed, and The Huffington Post.
